The Learning Connexion’s Kids Art Holiday Programme is timed just right to keep your kids happy, engaged and having creative holiday fun!
Our holiday programme is taught by our experienced, colourful and creative tutors. Held at our vibrant Taita campus, we provide children with an unforgettable, authentic art school experience that nurtures the creativity and wellbeing of each student.

WEEK ONE: MON 14TH TO THURS 17TH APRIL
Monday: Leaf Spray Painting
Let nature spark creativity! In this hands-on activity, young artists can arrange leaves on paper and spray colourful paints. Lifting the leaves reveals beautiful negative images of the leaf shapes surrounded by vibrant colours. Who knew nature could look so artistic?
Tuesday: Fantastical Houses
Your child’s dream house just got magical! They will use their creativity to design a whimsical house. With all sorts of art supplies, they’ll craft a home that’s as fun and fantastical as they can imagine. Fairy cottages, castles in the sky – what will your child create?
Wednesday: Air Dry Clay Jewellery
In this fun activity, they’ll shape and mold air-dry clay into beautiful, custom pieces. Whether it’s rings, necklaces, or bracelets, your child will craft something special to wear and show off! Is your child ready to create one-of-a kind jewellery that's as unique as they are?
Thursday: Autumn Embroidery
Create an autumn wonderland using soft felt, colourful threads, beads, and wool! Your child can design beautiful scenes or animals, allowing for creativity and self-expression in a fun, hands-on activity. What cosy and colourful creation will they bring to life?
Friday: No Classes (Public Holiday – Good Friday)
WEEK TWO: TUES 22ND TO THURS 24TH APRIL
Monday: No Classes (Public Holiday – Easter Monday)
Tuesday: Collage Critters
Your young artist will unleash their creativity as they design animals using colourful paper, fabric, and a variety of fun materials. In this exciting collage activity, they’ll piece together different textures and shapes to bring their favourite animals to life. What wild and wonderful creature will they create?
Wednesday: Build a Robot: Recycled Fun!
Your child will design and build their own robot using wooden blocks, hammers, nails, screws, cardboard, and fun recycled materials. From buttons to bottle caps, they’ll transform everyday items into a one-of-a-kind creation. This hands-on activity sparks imagination while giving new life to recycled materials. Who knows what kind of robot your child might create?
Thursday: Pop Art Printmaking
Pop art printmaking! Your child will create bold leaf, animal, or abstract prints while exploring colors that make their artwork pop. This fun, hands-on activity lets young artists experiment with printmaking and colour in exciting new ways. What vibrant and creative prints will they bring to life?
Friday: No Classes (Public Holiday – ANZAC Day)

Kids' Holiday Programme and Children's Art Classes: Terms & Conditions
All families must complete a registration form, enrolment agreement and safety form via Enrolmy before the child can participate in our Kids Art Holiday Programme, or our term time after school and homeschool art classes. It is the parent’s/caregiver’s responsibility to inform TLC of the child’s medical history and any other information necessary to provide proper care for your child. Please note that by registering your child with our Kids Art Programmes, you are also consenting to your child being transported, if needed, in an emergency.
Please note that your booking is confirmed only once payment has been made.

Free Trials (available for after school and homeschool classes only)
You can book a free trial class for our term time after school and homeschool classes. Please note that booking a free trial does not guarantee a spot in the class. If you are certain you want to attend for the term, please book and pay for your child before the class fills up.
Belongings
TLC takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to children’s property while in our Kids’ Art Programmes.
Cancellation Policy
All classes need a minimum number to go ahead. Please note: Parents/Caregivers must give 24 hours notice if their child will not be attending booked sessions. Failure to do this will mean the full fee for days booked will still be charged. If a class is cancelled, we will let you know as soon as possible prior to the scheduled start date. If this happens, you may transfer to another available class, or you will be offered a credit, or a refund.
Privacy and Information Sharing
The information collected within this enrolment form is for the purposes of establishing and maintaining appropriate records required for The Learning Connexion (TLC) to provide our Kids Art Programmes. Information collected will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, the Childrens Act 2014, The Children, Young Persons and their Families act 1989, and other relevant legislation. Information collected by us may be accessed by TLC staff, the Ministry of Social Development, relevant Government departments and other Audit organisations such as Te Kahui Kahu Social Services Accreditation. All personal information provided is kept confidential and is only accessible to our Kids Art Programme staff. In the event that information is requested by an external party for audit purposes (e.g. in relation to OSCAR or health and safety requirements), all identifying information is redacted. You may view your child’s and family’s information at any time by accessing your account via your Enrolmy Parent Portal and you can directly correct or update any information on your account.
