Every year in June, the Pleiades rise to the north-east and when they are visible just above the horizon at dawn it is considered Matariki, or Maori New Year.
Matariki is a time of renewal and an opportunity to reflect on who we are at this moment in time, and build connections with our whanau and our ancestors
At The Learning Connexion we have bought together three exceptional Maori artists to celebrate Matariki with an exclusive Masterclass Series. This is a one of a kind opportunity for you to learn hands-on-art that has incredible meaning and depth from three celebrated NZ Maori artists
