Cartooning is used in the press, subversive publications and comics. It has been around for many years and is currently undergoing a resurgence in graphic novels.
This class explores techniques media and methods which will enable you to create your own universe in the format of the graphic novel.
Suitable for all levels.

Content

* Drawing and developing your characters and settings
* Penciling and inking techniques
* Inking methods
* Exploration of various colouring techniques - including - watercolours, inks, gouache, markers and digital

Objectives

* Improve and develop skill levels in a broad range of media
* Understand the processes involved in the production of dynamic, exciting graphic novels

Outcomes

Increased confidence in the technical, conceptual and illustrative production of character and setting in the creating of graphic novels.
