I’ve been with the Learning Connexion for four years and in that time, I have worked a lot on my self-confidence and experimenting with different mediums, working with pounamu, bone, painting, jewellery and sculpting omaru stone. This was the beginning of my artistic creativity coming to life.
This is my journey of living life with mental illness,
I’m wanting to bring awareness to the people that suffer in silence and feel they have no voice or don’t even know where to begin to try and survive the day-to-day trauma and pain caused by life, isn’t always as easy as hardening up!
This is my first solo exhibition.
The gallery is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm
