On October 19th and 20th, we hosted an Open Weekend as part of the Lower Hutt Art Trail, featuring open studios, Art Trail artists, demos by students and tutors, market stalls, and a gallery exhibition!
Our community joined us to experience TLC in full swing:
- Art Market: Students showcased unique, handcrafted pieces at their own market stalls.
- Live Demos: Our skilled students and tutors demonstrated their creative processes in various studios.
- Food Trucks & Coffee Carts: Special thanks to RotiBay, CoffeeCruiser, and Gorgeous Goose Creations for fueling the weekend!
- Kids' Art Zone: Our brand-new kids' space offered young artists a chance to get creative, making it fun for the entire family!
- LAB Gallery Exhibition: We featured diverse artworks from talented artists in our LAB Gallery.
- Live Bronze Pours: The highlight of the weekend—a live bronze pour demonstration that captivated audiences!
This event was made possible with support from Hutt City Council and the Creative Communities Grant.
And every day is an Open day at TLC!
