Printmaking

Dive into the vibrant world of printmaking and watch your creativity come alive as you create your own unique designs. From gaining technical skills to experimenting with texture and color, you'll be challenged and inspired!

The techniques we cover will vary from term to term, so you'll always be learning something new, such as woodcut, dry-point, gel plate printing, screen-printing and more. You'll learn how to source, modify, and design images to print, changing your approach to suit different materials such as paper, fabric, and more. Your Toi Kaiako will also help you develop problem-solving skills, so you can troubleshoot and refine your work if it goes in an unexpected direction!

By the end of the term you’ll have a portfolio of unique prints and the confidence to continue your printmaking journey.
