You can bring your own stories and characters to life, or work from briefs provided by your Toi Kaiako. This allows you to get the skills you want in the way that best fits with where you are in your creative journey.
We can start by creating traditional sketches with pencil and paper and scanning them into a digital device, or jump straight into digital sketching using software such as Photoshop, Affinity Photo or free online products. Your Toi Kaiako can give you advice on which software and type of device are best for your needs. We have a number of computers available, and tauira are encouraged to bring their own devices if they are available.
Some familiarity with computers is recommended to get the most from this fun and inspiring class.
