This practical class develops your skills in ceramics and ignites your creativity.
Through hands-on projects, you’ll learn foundation skills as well as more advanced techniques.
Our supportive Toi Kaiako will guide you each step of the way, encouraging personal expression and growth in your technical skills.
You’ll work with various types of clay, experimenting with their unique properties to see what they can do. We'll explore a wide range of hand-building techniques, including coiling, slab building, and pinching. You'll also cover different finishing techniques, including traditional glazing and alternative surface treatments.
Whether you aim to create functional pieces, sculptural works, or something entirely unique, this course provides the tools, inspiration, and community to achieve your goals. Join us and discover the endless possibilities of working with clay.
