Students with Disabilities

The Learning Connexion has a supportive and inclusive environment. Students with disabilities should discuss their needs with the admissions staff when they enrol to ensure they receive appropriate support. The Learning Connexion teaches programmes via distance delivery so students can choose to study from home.

The Learning Connexion is the only art school in New Zealand to run an Inclusion Class where intellectually disabled and non-disabled students work side-by-side as creative peers, learning from each other's creative processes in a supportive studio environment. Intellectually disabled students model refreshing creative processes that non-disabled students experience as inspirational.
