Enrolment Procedure

1. Contact the Admission team or download a prospectus
Contact the Admissions team at admissions@tlc.ac.nz or telephone +64 04 568 0320 to discuss admissions requirements and to ask for a prospectus pack.  The pack contains information on our programmes and an enrolment form. It also includes information about fees. You can also download our current prospectus pack information here.

2. Complete the enrolment form
The enrolment form, and accompanying documentation must be completed in full and returned to the Admissions department.  
Applicants may also apply for recognition of prior learning at this stage.

4. Offer of place
After we have completed the enrolment form and other required documentation, TLC will send International students two copies of an ‘Offer of Placement’ letter. Applicants are required to sign and return one copy to TLC. The other copy is required for student visa/permit application. The offer is conditional on TLC receiving a verified copy of your student visa and a verified copy of an approved medical and travel insurance policy (in English).

5. Pre-payment of tuition fees
When TLC have received your fees payment we will send you a fees receipt. This receipt is required to be sent in with your application for a student visa.

6. Arrange a Student Visa through Immigration NZ

7. Medical and travel insurance
Arrange medical and travel insurance with an approved company. Fax or scan a copy of the insurance documentation to TLC, at least two weeks before your programme start date.

8. Living arrangements in NZ
We have resources and information to assist students with the organisation of transport and accommodation. Education New Zealand also has information for students considering study in New Zealand. You can read more on their website: www.newzealandeducated.com

9. Orientation at TLC
On arrival in NZ, phone (0800 278 769) or email Sue Blumsky who will arrange a TLC orientation tour. Students need to provide a verified copy of their student visa when they arrive at TLC.
