Events

Our programmes are about engaging with the world, so we actively support our community by hosting, and participating in, creative events, to which we add our own TLC style.  These are wide ranging, from kids’ activities and team building days for corporate groups to classroom style tutorials for college students. If you would like to know more, please contact our marketing team marketing@tlc.ac.nz to talk about the possible options we can offer you.

If you would like to be kept up to date about events we are involved in, or see more of what we have done in the past, please subscribe to TLC Xpress.

Student Exhibition Flyer

'Memory' is the Learning Connexion’s annual staff and tutor show. This time we’re excited to be exhibiting in the Vector Gallery at the Expressions Centre of Art and Entertainment, Upper Hutt.

One of the great things about working at an art school is the variety of collaboration between the staff and tutors, most of whom are practising artists. Exhibitions like this give us all a chance to explore a shared idea and engage with each other’s practise.

The theme we chose for this exhibition is memory, something which has a lot of potential for artists to work with in a variety of media. The exhibition will be showcasing a range of work including photography, an audio installation, animation, painting, printmaking and illustration to name but a few.

The exhibition runs for five weeks from the 13th January to the 19th February. The exhibition opens on Friday 13th January and is free to the public. There will be a gallery tour by some of the tutors on Sunday 15th February.

You can read more about the exhibition in our TLC Xpress article about the exhibition.
