Twenty years ago we had to provide the Ministry of Justice with a set of possible names because they wouldn’t allow us to be called ‘TLC Ltd’. We intended the school to reflect tender loving care’ (though sometimes ‘tender’ has to be replaced with ‘tough’!). That’s how we ended up with ‘The Learning Connexion’ (it was weird thinking up names which could be abbreviated to the letters we wanted).
