Writer/Researcher
We currently have a fulltime vacancy for a Writer/Researcher in our Audio Visual Team. We are looking for someone to help write and develop content for the educational videos, documentaries and promotional material our in-house team create. The position will suit an experienced writer comfortable with creating content for multiple needs, as the role will extend into a variety of areas i.e promotional writing, academic/formal, research, and review of finished material.
Ideally, we are also seeking someone with a bit of technical experience who can help with day to day tasks in our AV Team. Particularly, we would love this role to oversee our DVD Library as well as manage a selection of AV administration tasks. This would entail such things as being able to copy CDs and DVDs and burn DVDs using a DVD recorder, and assist staff with use of some basic AV equipment as necessary. There are also tasks shared across the AV Team such as taking phone calls and answering queries that this role would be involved with.
This position requires working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and good file management skills are vital. Some experience with Photoshop would also be of benefit.
To be successful across all these areas, you will need to be organised, able to multi-task and work as part of a busy team as well as self-directed. Applicants will ideally hold a degree level qualification (or higher) and have an interest in art and creativity. This is a permanent fulltime position of 35 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday.

Web Developer
We are seeking a talented junior to intermediate level Web Developer to work onsite from our campus for 35 hours per week (full time). The role encompasses all facets of our web material, including digital delivery, online newsletters, class information, and the maintenance and development of our main website.
The position requires a solid skill level in HTML/CSS, OO (object orientated) PHP and MySQL.
Essential:
Ability to write standards-based HTML / CSS
Strong knowledge of OO PHP / MySQL
Experience maintaining unmanaged Ubuntu servers
Basic understanding of computer hardware
Highly desirable:
Excellent understanding of cross-browser rendering issues
Experience with WordPress / WordPress MU
Good grasp of design / usability issues
