Our campus is a fun-filled, action-packed art space, where students and tutors explore their creative ideas in a supportive environment. It is set in four hectares of bush overlooking the Hutt Valley, in Taita, Wellington, New Zealand. Adorning our front building is a massive abstract painting by graduate Sue Lund.
You can see a map of the campus here.
The Learning Connexion is the first campus in New Zealand to combine purpose built hot-arts studios with creativity. We provide students with the opportunity to make wonderful works from bronze, glass, ceramic and steel, as well as experience other traditional art making processes.
The TLC campus includes: A fully equipped jewellery studio, a print studio, a newly upgraded computer and audio-visual suite, a photography studio, a range of light, airy, painting, drawing and design studios, a ceramics and glass studio, a bronze foundry, a blacksmith studio, a metal fabrication workshop, a stone carving studio, a mixed media studio (stone, wood, wire, paper, plaster, plastic), a picture framing workshop.
The Learning Connexion has an on-site shop to help students access the materials they need.
