About Us

The Learning Connexion is a tertiary art and creativity school. We teach sustainable creativity through art making. Based in Wellington, New Zealand, we offer a blend of on-site, study from home, full-time and part-time study options. The Learning Connexion teaches across all fine and contemporary art media – from video to bronze-casting, computers to painting.

Our style of teaching is to draw out, rather than to stuff in. Through our programmes students gain a thorough grounding in fine arts and an understanding of the principles of creativity and how these can apply to other areas of their life. TLC connects with the reality of your life, enhancing career prospects through holistic education.

Depending on the programme, students who complete receive either a level 4, 5, 6 or 7 New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) qualification. A Level 7 NZQA qualification is equivalent to a three year university degree. NZQA ensures that New Zealand qualifications are reliable, robust and are recognised both nationally and internationally.
